We believe that there is more to providing a great education than just classroom time. Sports, clubs, theater, music, and the arts all contribute to a well rounded student.

You are invited to describe in 250 words or less why your extracurricular activity should be given a $1000 Romano Cares Grant. Each Monday the Romano Auto Dealerships will award a $1000 grant to an officially sanctioned school club or extracurricular activity.

Rules: Limited to schools (grades K-12) in Onondaga, Oswego, Madison & Cayuga counties. Entries must be 250 words or less. Deadline for each Monday’s selection is the previous Thursday at 11:59 pm. An independent panel of judges will select one entry each week. No need to reenter – all entries will be considered each week for the duration of the program. Scheduled to end November 3, 2008. Dates subject to change.
